You ever sit and think "who tf are you playing with?"

Yeah... then this is for you.

Look, we live in a world full of people who think they got you all mapped out. Based on where you work, how you dress, or whatever old tea they got on you. They already wrote a whole script for your life. They expect you to play your part, stay in your little lane, and let them run the whole show.

The crazy part? Most people actually do it. They start shrinking up when someone tries to bully them, they start doing backflips explaining themselves when questioned, and they basically beg for validation from people they don't even like.

So, if you want to flip the power dynamic, you got to burn the damn script!!

The second you refuse to react the way people expect you to, their brains short-circuit. They are looking for a fight or a victim, and you too grown to give them either. You become a walking question mark!

Here is how you regain your power:

  • When someone loses their temper or tries to intimidate you, society says you should cry or yell back. Even look around to see if someone will save you. Nah... You let them finish, look them dead in the eye, and ask in a calm, deeply concerned voice, "Are you doing okay? You seem really stressed." Watch how fast their soul leaves their body.

  • When one of these slick talking fools at your job throws a passive-aggressive jab to knock you down a peg, don't get defensive; agree with them cheerfully. "Oh, yeah I agree, I totally screwed that up. Anyway, did you see the email about lunch?" You just sucked all the oxygen out of their insult.

  • Someone pulls the cold, distant routine to make you chase them. Everything in you says you should double-text but don't! What you need to do is:  Cut that mofo off... cold turkey! I'm talking about cut off game STRONG!! Give them total, polite, absolute irrelevance. Forget their name. Treat them like an extra in a movie you aren't watching anymore.

True power isn't about being the loudest person in the room. It’s about being so completely unbothered that other people’s clown behavior just slides right off your back.

Switching the power dynamic isn't about becoming the bad guy; it’s about growing some balls and refusing to be the doormat. It’s realizing that nobody can make you feel small unless you let them—so stop giving out free passes.

If you’ve been the chronic people-pleaser, your new favorite phrase is a firm, smiling, "Nah, that doesn't work for me," followed by pure silence. No excuses. No "let me see what I can do." Just let them sit there in the quiet and figure it out.

When they come at you expecting anxiety, excuses, and a bunch of stuttered apologies, you hit 'them with a slow, calm stare and total silence. They’ll instantly start scrambling to fill the quiet and end up looking completely goofy trying to save face. If they try to press you and expect you to over-explain yourself, you just drop that "No" and let that be the end of the story—they can't argue with a boundary that has zero wiggle room. When they try to pull away, expecting you to go chasing after them for validation, you hit they ass with pure, polite apathy. The second they realize they have absolutely zero leverage over your mood, the game is officially over. You won!

The next time someone tries to play games with you, dead it. You don't have to tune into their drama, and you don't have to audition for the role of a punk ass.

You can be polite, stay professional, but stay entirely not with that it, to anyone trying to manipulate you.

Fuck em.
