Beau Bentley again, I'm glad you found your way over... I'm here to offer my BEST advice – doggy style!
Live in the Moment (Sniff All the Smells!...even the weird ones): Life got you stressed? Feeling like you're lost in a fog? Take a cue from us pups. We sniff all the smells. It ain't just about finding the best fire hydrant, it's about being present. Each scent, a moment. Ground yourself. Find your "smells": the warm coffee, fresh air, a loved one's hug. Inhale the good, exhale the stress. Sniff all the smells, and find your peace. And if you don't like the smell hike your leg up and leave your own!!
Get Your Daily Exercise (Run and Play!): The ZOOMIES!!! UNDERRATED!! It releases those happy chemicals in your brain!! It's not about being crazy, it's about being alive. It's a burst of pure, unfiltered joy. It's the feeling of the wind in your ears, the thrill of the chase, the sheer, unbridled energy that courses through your veins. If you can't zoom, a good run, a vigorous game of fetch, or even a leisurely stroll can work wonders for your mood. So, let’s go for a walk! It's good for both of us!

Unconditional Love (Wag More, Worry Less!): I love you no matter what. No matter if you had a bad day at work, or if you burnt dinner. I'm here to offer cuddles and tail wags, always. Try to show yourself that same unconditional love. Be kind to yourself, and remember that you're worthy of love and affection...and treats, especially the meaty ones.
Find Your Pack (Lean on Your Humans!): We dogs are pack animals, I have a dog too, albeit her name is cat!! and humans are too! Don't isolate yourself. Spend time with your loved ones, your friends, and your family. They're your pack, and they'll be there for you when you need them. And when you need extra love, I'm always here.
Rest and Recharge (Nap Like a Pro!): I take my naps very seriously. Rest is essential for both physical and mental well-being. Make sure you're getting enough sleep, and don't be afraid to take a midday snooze if you need it.

Express Yourself (Bark Your Truth!): If I'm happy, I bark and wag my tail. If I'm sad, I whine, with my whole chest. If I'm hungry, I drop my cookie ball at your feet. You need get out to potty, or just take a break, whimper at the door. It's okay to let people know what your needs are. Don't bottle up your emotions. Find healthy ways to express yourself, whether it's through talking, pawing, or howling.
Find Joy in the Simple Things (Enjoy the Little Things!): A good belly rub, a tasty treat or two, or three, or a bag, a cool spot to nap in—(unless you like the sunny spots like the short haired dogs) these are the things that make my tail wag. Find those simple joys in your own life, and savor them.
Sometimes You Gotta Show Your Teeth (Protect yourself): You can't ignore a persistent threat, or give it a light tug. You methodically, consistently, and thoroughly remove it, i.e. we don't allow threats!! (GRRRRR) We don't just brush them aside; we address the root causes, cultivate healthy coping mechanisms, and create a resilient safe space for ourselves and those we love.
Be Loyal and True (Be a Good Friend!): Being a good friend is good for the soul. Be there for your pack, offer support, and show compassion.
Remember, you're not alone. I'm here for you, always. Now, let's go fill my cookie ball! Woof!
