Tell That B!tch to Shut Up

You know the one—she’s loud, she’s bitter, she’s got a stank attitude, and she stays whispering some straight-up lies in your ear the minute you try to be great.
You know exactly who I’m talking about. She’s the one who waits until you’ve finally put on that cute outfit—the one that makes you feel like a whole snack—to whisper, "Look at that roll. You look like a bag of laundry. Why you even trying?"
She’s the one who waits until you’re about to speak up in a meeting to hiss, "Sit down. They’re gonna realize you’re a fraud. You sound stupid."
Girl, why are you letting this dusty-ass, broke-down version of yourself run the show?
You read that right, the broke-down version of YOURSELF! I’m talking about that raggedy, demonic, project-dwelling spirit that lives in the back of your mind. She is a hater. Pure and simple.
Today is the day we look her right in her the face and tell that bitch to shut-TF-Up!!
We need to stop pretending that "being hard on ourselves" is a personality trait or a way to stay "humble." No, sis. That voice is a sabotager.
You say all kinds of things to yourself, that you wouldn't DARE let someone say to your face! Think about it: If you had a "friend" who followed you around all day, looked at what you were eating, then looked you dead in your face and said, "Do you really need that?" you would’ve caught a case by noon. You would have dragged her all over the damn restaurant, sat down, and finished your food before the ambulance and police got there. So why are you letting yourself say it?
When you joke about your weight or your "flaws" to beat people to the punch, you aren't being funny. You’re being a bully to the little girl inside you who’s just trying to survive. You’re literally doing the enemy's work for him... for FREE! You’re handing out the stones for people to throw at you. STOP!
Youre easier to handle when your ego has been abused. Like most abusers, that heffa in your head doesn't want you protected; she wants you contained cause its easy being small. She wants you to stay in that dead-end job, that dusty ass relationship, and that same pair of leggings because as long as you’re miserable, she has a job.
She’s terrified of the version of you that actually likes herself. She’s terrified of the woman who looks in the mirror and says, "I’m thick, I’m gorgeous, and I’m a genius." Because once you BELIEVE that, you aren't going to care about what ANYBODY says. Once she loses her power over your mind, that she’s dust!
Aye... get BIG!! You have to realize that this inner critic is a liar and a thief. She steals your confidence, she steals your time, and she steals the light. Don't just ignore her—CHECK THAT BITCH!!!! Read her for filth. Remind her that you are a queen!
Next time she opens her mouth to talk down to you, don't even let her finish the sentence. Put your hand in her metaphorical face and remind her who the hell runs this.
